Team admins can add or remove team members based on the number of licenses purchased.
If your team does not currently have an admin, please reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager or Support to connect you.
Add a Team Member
- In your WellSaid account, navigate to your initials in the lower left and then to Account Settings>Team..
- On the right, select Add Team Member.
- Invite your team by filling out the fields required and selecting their access level (member/admin).
- Click Invite, and just like that, your team member will receive an email invitation in their inbox.
Need more seats? Admins can request additional seats in the Account > Team section or reach out to Support to connect you with your dedicated account manager.
Remove a Team Member
When removing a team member, you can choose what happens to their projects and workspaces. You can:
- Transfer Work – Remove the user and move their content to another location.
- Do Not Transfer – Remove the user and leave their content in their personal workspace.
To remove a team member:
- Go to Account Settings > Team.
- Find the user you want to remove and click Remove User.
- A pop-up will appear asking how to handle the user’s projects and workspaces.
To remove a user and transfer content:
- Select Transfer Work.
- Choose where to move the content.
- Team Drive – Moves all projects into your shared team space.
- Personal Drive – Moves projects to the Admin’s personal drive.
- Workspace – Moves projects to a particular workspace on the team drive.
- Click Save Destination to start the transfer.
To remove a user without transferring content:
- Select Remove from team only.
- You’ll see a confirmation message once the user has been removed. The removed user will no longer show in your team list.

A: Yes. You can re-invite the user, then remove them again to transfer their projects.

A: The team admin gains full access, and anyone who already has access retains it.
Q: Can I transfer projects to another team or organization?
A: No. You can only transfer content to your current team.
Q: Does this change billing or clip usage?
A: No, your billing and clip usage stay the same.

A: Ownership updates immediately, but sometimes it takes a moment to appear. Try refreshing the page — all clips, scripts, and assets remain intact.
