Rearrange, Move, and Copy Clips or Sections

Rearrange clips within a project

If you’d like to rearrange clips within a project.

In Standard:

1.  
   1. Select your Studio Project.
   2. Locate the clip you want to move, and grab the gripper bar on the left side of the clip.
   3. Move the clip to the desired position.

In Caruso:

1. Copy the text from the section you want to move.
2. Locate where the section should be.
3. Click + New Section in the desired location.
   Paste your copied text into the new section and click Generate Take.
4. If needed, delete the original section.

Moving clips to another project

If you’d like to move clips to another Project:

In Standard:

1. Select the checkbox on the left side of the clip.
2. Navigate to the top bar and select Move. 
3. Choose the name of the Project from the drop-down menu and select Move.
4. Your clip is now in your new project.

Copying clips to another project

If you’d like to copy or duplicate an existing clip(s) to another Project:

In Standard:

1. Select the checkbox on the left side of each clip you want to copy.
2. Navigate to the top bar and select Copy.
3. Choose the destination project and click Copy.
4. Your clips are now copied to your new project.
