Creating and Managing Takes

In WellSaid Studio and Caruso (Legacy), you can create as many takes as needed to get the right one. 

Create a Take

1. Select your Voice from the voice list.
2. Enter or upload your script into the section editor.
3. Click the Play button to generate an audio take.

Re-generate a Take

1. Locate the section you want to re-take.
2. Click the Regenerate icon (circling arrows)
3. Click Play to listen to the newly generated take.

Repopulate a Take

The most recent text appears in each section by default. To review past takes:

1. Click Take [#] at the top of the section
   — or, while the section is active, select Take History in the right sidebar.
2. The Take History modal will display all previously generated takes.
3. Click Use this take on the take you want to restore.
4. Click anywhere outside the modal to return to the editor.
5. Edit or download the restored take as needed.

Delete a Take

1. Click Take [#] at the top of the section
   — or, while the section is active, select Take History in the right sidebar.
2. The Take History modal will display all previously generated takes.
3. Click the ellipsis (…) menu next to that take.
4. Select Delete.
