Emotional Presets adjust pitch, pace, and loudness together to set a section's tone, then let you fine-tune from there. Available for Caruso voices.
Understanding Emotional Presets
Choose from six presets:
- Happy
- Excited
- Calm
- Stern
- Serious
- Secretive
Before you get started
- A Studio project using a Caruso voice. Emotional Presets require this voice model.
Applying an Emotional Preset
- Select the section you want to edit.
- Open the Cues panel by highlighting the text or clicking the Cues icon in the section toolbar.
- Choose an Emotional Preset in the right sidebar.
- Click the Play button to generate a take.
- Fine-tune pace, pitch, and loudness individually if the tone needs adjustment.
- Click the Play button again to generate a new take.
Note: Presets apply to the whole section, not to individual words or phrases you've highlighted.
Removing a preset
- Select the section with the applied preset.
- Open the Cues panel by highlighting the text or clicking the Cues icon.
- Click the Reset icon in the right sidebar.
The preset is removed, and the voice returns to its default behavior.
