Caruso includes built-in Emotional Preset Cues such as happy, excited, secretive, calm, stern, and serious. Use them as they are or adjust the pace, pitch, and loudness to fine-tune your script.
Using Emotional Presets
1. Highlight the text in the section where you want to apply an emotional preset. To select the entire section at once, click the Cues icon next to the Play button.
Note: Emotional presets can only be applied to a whole section.
2. Choose the emotional preset you'd like to apply from the options in the right sidebar.
3. Use the sliders in the right sidebar to fine-tune pace, pitch, and loudness.
4. Click the Play button to generate an audio take and hear your cue performance.
Need to make adjustments? Edit the cues and generate another take. To adjust emotional presets, select the entire section again and use the sliders in the right-side Cues menu to fine-tune the cues.
Removing Cues or Presets
To remove any verbal or non-verbal cues, highlight the text with the applied cue and click the Reset icon.
