Article overview
Preview your project from any section through to the end, in one continuous playthrough.
Continuous playback plays all sections in order with your configured pauses between them, so you can hear the finished project the way a listener will — no need to play each section individually.
Before you get started
- Generate every section before starting continuous playback — it stops at the first section that isn't.
Playing your project continuously
To play continuously:
- Click the playback mode dropdown (labeled Play: followed by the current mode) in the audio bar at the bottom of your project.
- Select Continuous.
To switch back to individual playback:
- Click the playback mode dropdown again.
- Select Single section.
Tip: Prefer continuous playback by default? Set Default playback mode to Continuous under Account Settings, and new projects will start in that mode.
What happens during continuous playback
Pauses are carried through to combined exports — what you hear in continuous playback, including any custom pauses you've set (see Controlling Pauses Between Sections), is exactly what you get in the downloaded file.
FAQs
Q: My continuous playback stopped mid-project. What happened?
A: A section hasn't been generated yet, so Studio stops there. Generate it and resume playback.
