Voice styles
Voices in WellSaid Studio are organized by speaking style, so you can choose the tone that fits your content. Available styles include:
- Narration — Clear, measured delivery suited for eLearning, explainers, and long-form content.
- Conversational Standard — A natural, relaxed tone for everyday listening.
- Promo — Energetic delivery designed for ads and marketing content.
- Newscast — Authoritative and direct, suited for broadcast-style content.
- Inspirational — Warm and motivating, ideal for training and wellness content.
Not all styles are available for every voice. Check the Voices panel to see which styles a specific voice supports.
Finding the right voice
To browse voices by language, accent, or style:
- Open your project in WellSaid Studio.
- Select the voice picker to open the Voices panel.
- Use the Language and accent filter to narrow results by region.
- Use the Performance style filter to filter by speaking style.
- Select a voice card and click Use voice to apply it to your section.
Use the Explore tab to browse all available voices, or the Favorites tab to quickly access voices you've saved.

Q: Can I use the same voice in multiple languages?
A: No. Each voice is trained in a specific language. To produce audio in a different language, select a voice that supports that language from the Voices panel.
Q: How do I know which accent or style a voice uses?
