Get your voiceover project up and running in WellSaid Studio — learn what projects are and how to create one.
A project is your workspace for a piece of voiceover content — it holds all the clips and sections you create. Use projects to stay organized, share your work, and collaborate with teammates.
What you can do with projects
- Keep your voiceover projects organized so you can quickly find what you need.
- Share public project links to showcase your work.
- Collaborate with teammates using shared project access — available on Business and Enterprise plans.
Before you get started
- An active WellSaid Studio free trial or paid subscription.
- Available projects within your plan's allotment.
Start a new project
- Navigate to Projects from the left menu.
- Select + New in the top-right corner.
- Name your project.
- Choose your experience:
- For the latest features and all models, select WellSaid Studio (recommended).
- For stable performance with a limited feature set, select Legacy Studio – Standard.
- For global-language projects (Enterprise only), select Legacy Studio – Global.
- Click Create Project.
Your project is ready — start adding sections and clips to build your voiceover.
📝 Note: Creating new Legacy Studio projects will no longer be available after June 30, 2026. We recommend using WellSaid Studio for all new projects.

Q: How many projects can I have?
A: The number of projects you can create in WellSaid Studio depends on your subscription plan.
Q: Can I rename or delete a project?
A: Yes. Click the three-dot menu (···) on any project to rename, delete, or share it.
Q: What's the difference between a project and a folder?
A: Projects hold your clips and sections. Folders help you organize multiple projects and are available on Business and Enterprise plans. Learn more about Creating Folders.
