Sending Feedback from Studio

You can submit feedback directly from Studio using the thumbs up or thumbs down feedback options available after generating a take.

1. Generate a take in Studio.
2. Select the thumbs up or thumbs down option to submit feedback.
3. Add any additional details that may help explain what you experienced, then submit your feedback.

Please note: Feedback options are available to anyone with Full Access or Can Edit access to the project. If you have Can View access, you won't see them. You can rate each take once, and your feedback can't be changed after you submit it.

Why submit feedback using the thumbs down option?

When troubleshooting an issue with a generated take, submitting the example via the thumbs-down feedback feature is essential. This provides our Machine Learning team with the technical context needed to accurately assess what occurred during that specific generation.

The thumbs-down feedback captures the complete TTS payload, including the exact generated text, the voice ID, and the model used. This gives the team a full, unambiguous picture of how the clip was produced, which is critical to an efficient investigation.

This additional context can also help determine whether a factor such as a Replacement may have influenced the output. When troubleshooting a specific issue, submitting examples through the thumbs-down feedback feature ensures our Machine Learning team has the most complete information available to investigate effectively.

If a Take Sounds Robotic or Unnatural

Some voices and styles suit certain scripts better than others. If a take doesn't sound natural:

1. Try generating a new take, or try a different voice or style. Auditioning voices can help you find a better fit.
2. On supported voices, adjust pace, pauses, loudness, and pitch with voice cues.
3. Select the thumbs down option on the take and tell us what sounded off. This sends the example straight to the team working on voice quality.

You can also send your feature request or feedback by email to support@wellsaidlabs.com. However, when reporting an issue with a generated take, we strongly recommend submitting your example through the thumbs down feedback option. This gives our team more complete information about how the clip was generated and helps eliminate ambiguity during an investigation.
