Generate as many takes as you like on paid plans — your download limit only counts the finished audio you actually download or combine. How that limit is measured depends on which plan you're on.

Before you get started

Check Account Settings > Overview to see which type of plan you're on. If your usage is shown as a number of minutes, follow "Minutes-based plans" below. If it's shown as a count with no time value, follow "Legacy download-count plans."

Minutes-based plans

Your allowance is the total number of finished audio minutes, not the number of downloads. It resets each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) and doesn't roll over.

What uses minutes:

• Downloading a take — uses that take's length. A 3-minute take uses 3 minutes of your allowance.
• Downloading audio combined with the Combine tool — uses the combined file's length.

What doesn't:

• Generating or regenerating (retaking) a take
• Previewing or playing audio inside Studio
• A take that fails to render

Legacy download-count plans

These plans are no longer offered, but if you're still on one, your allowance is a fixed number of downloads, regardless of each take's length. A take counts toward your limit when it's been:

• Downloaded to your device
• Combined using the Combine feature

Generating takes doesn't count — you can render as many as you need before deciding which to download.

If you hit your limit
