With Comments, keep feedback, questions, and collaboration in one place on clips (Standard) or in sections (Caruso). Business and Enterprise users can flag clips for review, share pronunciation notes, and assign follow-ups—right inside the Studio.
⚠️ Team members must have full access to the project workspace to view, post, and reply to comments. Comments are not available on publicly shared project links.
Add a Comment
You can flag audio for review, share feedback, or assign tasks by leaving comments on specific clips or sections.
- In your Studio project, create or locate a clip or section.
- Click the comment icon on the clip or section to open the comment panel.
- Type your message in the comment panel.
- Use @ to tag teammates. They’ll receive an email notification when mentioned.
- Click Send and your comment will appear in the panel.
- Replies are displayed in the order of entry, making conversations easy to follow.
Working in tandem on a project? Click on refresh in the Comments panel to make sure you are viewing the latest comment.
Edit or Delete a Comment
- Hover over the comment you’d like to update.
- Click the three-dot (•••) menu.
- Select Edit or Delete.
Note: 🔒 Only the comment author can make these changes.

FAQs
Q: I’m working in Caruso. Can I leave a comment on a previous take?
A: Commenting on sections does not apply to the individual take. If you’d like to leave a take specific comment, note the take number in your comment.
Q: I don't see commenting as an option. How can I access the feature?
A: Comments are available on business and enterprise-level accounts. Contact sales to learn more.
Q: Can the comments be marked as resolved?
A: Comments cannot be marked as resolved at this time. We suggest leaving a comment, “Resolved.”
Q: Can I leave a comment as read or unread?
A: Yes, you can click on the comment to remove the blue indicator, which indicates read. You can reset the blue indicators by choosing “mark as unread.”
