Export your audio exactly how you need it — one section, several at once, or a whole project.
WellSaid gives you three ways to download your work: a single section, a batch of sections, or an entire project. Each option supports different file formats and export extras, such as captions.
Before you get started
- MP3 is available on all plans. OGG and WAV require a Business or Enterprise plan.
- Bulk downloads (multiple sections or a full project) are capped at 32 audio files at a time.
Downloading a section
- Click the download icon on the right side of the section.
- Select a file format: MP3, OGG, or WAV.
- Select any additional exports you want — text or captions.
Your file downloads according to your browser's own download settings.
Note: Newly generated takes start playback right away — if you'd like to download, wait until the render is fully finished.
Downloading multiple sections
- Select the sections you want to download — check individual sections, or click on Select all at the top of the list to choose them all.
- Click on Download, then choose Download audio as: Individual files.

Customize your file names (optional):
- Add the project name to each file name.
- Number each file based on its order in the project.
- Enable captions (optional) to include an SRT or VTT file alongside each audio file.
Your files download together as a ZIP folder named after the project.
Downloading an entire project
- In the Projects tab, click the ••• icon on the project you want to download.
- Click on Download, then choose a file format.
The project downloads automatically as a .zip file containing all active takes.
FAQs
Q: Will downloading a project distort the audio quality?
A: Downloading a project won't distort the audio quality. However, keep in mind that using different sample rates can affect audio quality.
Q: I don't see the option to download other file types besides MP3. Why is that?
A: Multiple file types are available for download with a Business or Enterprise subscription. To learn how to upgrade your account, contact the Support team.
Q: Can I download multiple 96 kHz audio files at once?
A: No. Bulk download of 96 kHz audio files is not currently supported.
Q: How many files can I download at once?
A: You can download up to 32 audio files at the same time.
Q: What are the download options if my project contains more than 32 sections?
A: You'll need to combine them, download in smaller groups, or download them individually.
