When you download multiple sections, you can combine them into a single audio file with consistent pauses between segments. Use it for longer recordings, full scripts, or continuous voiceovers.

Before you get started

• Make sure the sections you want to combine have already been rendered.
• Reorder your sections before combining — sections merge from top to bottom in the order they appear. See Reordering, Moving, and Copying Sections.
• If Global Download settings are enabled, disable them before combining sections.

Downloading Sections as a Combined File

1. Select the sections you want to combine by checking their boxes.
   • For all sections, click Select all at the top of the section list.
2. Click on Download in the toolbar.
3. Under Download audio as, select Combined file.
4. Choose a pause length between sections:
   • Short (0.3s)
   • Natural (0.8s)
   • Long (1.2s)
5. Enter a file name for the combined audio file.
6. Click on Download.

Sections combine from top to bottom using the active take from each section, and the combined file downloads based on your browser's settings.

Q: How many sections can I combine into a single audio file in Studio? 

A: You can combine up to 32 audio files into a single file.

Q: Are there any restrictions when combining sections with different sample rates? 

A: Files rendered at 96 kHz are limited by total file size. If the combined file is too large, you may receive an error message.

Q: What if I combine 96 kHz files with 24 or 48 kHz files? 

A: The 96 kHz files will be downsampled in the combined output.

Q: How does Studio determine the final sample rate when combining 24 kHz and 48 kHz files? 

A: The combined file uses 48 kHz, the highest supported sample rate.
