Article overview
Payment failures usually come down to a few common causes — billing details, card restrictions, or bank holds.
If your payment didn't go through, the steps below cover the most likely reasons and how to fix each one. Most issues can be resolved without contacting Support.
Incorrectly entered billing details
Double-check that your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV match exactly what's on your card. A single incorrect digit can cause a payment failure.
Expired, invalid card, or insufficient funds
Contact your card's issuing bank to confirm there's no hold on your account and no insufficient funds issue.
Unsupported payment method
WellSaid accepts the following payment methods:
- American Express
- China UnionPay (CUP)

- Japan Credit Bureau (JCB)

International purchases not enabled
