Use the Combine tool to merge multiple sections into a single audio file with consistent pauses between segments. This is useful for creating longer recordings, full scripts, or continuous voiceovers.
 

For best results, reorder your sections before combining — sections merge from top to bottom in the order they appear. See Reordering, Moving, and Copying Sections.

Combine Sections

Make sure the sections you want to combine have already been rendered.

1. Select the sections you want to combine by checking the boxes, or click Select all at the top of the section list.
2. Click Download in the toolbar.
3. Under Download audio as, select Combined file.
   Sections are combined from top to bottom using the active take from each section.
4. Choose a pause length between sections:
   • Short (0.3s)
   • Natural (0.8s)
   • Long (1.2s)
5. Enter a file name for the combined audio file.
6. Click Download. The combined file downloads based on your browser's settings.

Note: If Global Download settings are enabled, you'll need to disable them before combining sections.

Tip: Fine-tune pacing with Pause Controls and Continuous Playback to perfect the timing of your voiceover. Use Pause Controls to add precise breaks between phrases, and Continuous Playback to hear how your audio flows from one section to the next.

A: You can combine up to 32 audio files into a single file.

Q: What happens if I try to combine more than 32 sections at once?

A: You'll need to combine files in smaller groups or download them individually.
