How to Create and Manage Takes

In Studio’s Caruso, you can create as many takes as needed to get the right one. 

Creating a Take:

1. Select your Voice from the Voices.
2. Enter or upload your script into the section editor.
3. Click the Play button to generate an audio take.

Re-generating a take:

1. Locate the section you want to re-take and click the circling arrows Regenerate icon. 
2. Listen to your new take by clicking the play button.

Repopulating a take:

1. The most recent text will appear in each section. To listen to all takes for a section, click Take [#] at the top of each section, or while your section is in an active state, select Take History in the sidebar.
2. A pop-up will appear listing every take you’ve rendered. Listen to the takes and click Use this take to repopulate the text for a particular take, then click anywhere outside the pop-up.
3. Edit and download the take as desired.

Deleting a take:

1. Click Take [#] at the top of the section, or while your section is in an active state, select Take History rom the sidebar.
2. A pop-up will appear listing every take you've rendered. Select the take you wish to delete, and click the ellipses (...) menu on the right side of the take.
3. Click Delete to delete the take.
