A conversation between two voices can inject life and engagement into a project. Here are a couple of approaches to creating a smooth and compelling conversation:
WellSaid Studio (Recommended process):
- Import your script. We recommend using Split by paragraphs or Split by sentences for the most streamlined
-
Select one voice as the default. After that, you can easily change the voice for each section to reflect the dialogue.
- To change a voice on a section, click on the voice image or click See All Voices in the sidebar. Pro tip: if you have favorited voices, they will appear in the sidebar for easy access.
- To change the voice on multiple sections to the same voice, click the box next to the section and select See All Voices from the sidebar, and select a voice to change all sections.
-
Click the drop-down menu at the top of the section to choose a version and style for the voice.
- To use Cues, be sure to choose a voice option from Caruso.
- Replacements, Smart Suggestions, and Rewrite-for-Emphasis work with options from both Standard and Caruso voices.
- Click Play to generate and adjust as needed.
-
Select the sections you want. If needed, use the Combine tool to combine sections into a continuous dialogue before downloading.
WellSaid Studio (Alternate process):
- Enter your first line of dialogue using one voice, press play, listen, and adjust as needed using features available with your chosen voice and version.
