WellSaid now gives you early access to new voice models before they're fully released. Try them in your current projects, share feedback, and help shape what comes next.
Before you get started
- Preview models are available on all paid plans. Free and Business trial accounts don't have access.
- For API access, contact your Customer Success Manager to get your account added.
Using a Preview model
- In a project, click the voice style dropdown in any section.
- Select the Preview models option from the dropdown.
Alternatively, click the voice icon to open the voice selection modal, then select Preview from the Model dropdown. - Choose a Preview model style.
- Click the Play button to render your audio.
Rendering with a Preview model creates a new take — your existing takes aren't affected and remain available in the section's take history.
Preview models are for testing, not production. Outputs can change as the model develops.
What happens if a Preview model changes
If a Preview model is swapped, a new model takes its place in the dropdown. If it's removed entirely, the option disappears. In both cases, any audio you rendered with the previous model switches to Read Only — you can still play and download it, but you'll need to select a new model to re-render. Your script content is preserved.

Q: What happens to my Preview access if I cancel my plan?
A: Preview models are available on all paid plans. If you cancel or move to a free plan, you'll lose access. Any audio you already rendered switches to Read Only.
