The email address on an existing account can't be changed directly, but there's almost always a supported way to get what you need. Use the table below to find your best next step.
Before you get started
If your account uses Single Sign-On (SSO) or a social login provider (such as LinkedIn or Google), your options may be limited, and some steps below may not be available for self-service. If you're unsure how your account was set up, contact Support before proceeding.

Recommended solutions
Continue Using Existing Account Credentials
The account owner can hand off the existing login credentials so another user can access the account.
Please note: Per our Terms of Use, only one user may access an account at a time. This option is intended as a full handoff — not shared or simultaneous use between the original and new user.
- The account and subscription remain exactly as they are.
- The email address does not change.
- We recommend updating the password before handing off access. If you need a password reset, please contact Support.
- Billing and usage will continue to be tied to the original email address.
Set Up a New Account
Accounts and subscriptions cannot be transferred to a different email address. If a new user requires their own separate login, they must create a new WellSaid account and start a new subscription.
Migrate to a Team Account
Team accounts let multiple people work under one shared account, each with their own login. Here's how you can make it work for your team:
- Upgrade to a Business plan or contact sales for Enterprise options. Existing projects carry over.
- Add team members under their own email address.
- Remove the original user and transfer their content to a new location.
Notes:
- A team admin is required to complete these actions.
- The team admin gains full access to any transferred content, and anyone who already had access keeps it.
